Another Bridgnorth Turbine Application – The Hills, The Down

A planning application has been submitted for an 86.5m turbine at The Hills, The Down near the Ludlow Road. This is only 2 miles outside Bridgnorth.  As feared this application shows the possibility of a wind turbine landscape west of Bridgnorth. It is therefore important that feeling against this application is communicated to the Council. Similar issues to the Upton Cressett application apply in this case for example:

• IMPACT ON VISUAL AMENITY OF LOCAL RESIDENTS
• PROXIMITY TO HOMES
• PROXIMITY TO JACK MYTTON WAY 
• IMPACT ON LOCAL BUSINESSES

To enter an objection click on comments and then ‘Make a Comment’. Objections should be made by 15th July, but we understand the portal will remain open for comment for some time so please try to submit your view.

• Morville Parish Council considering the Upton Cressett application. 7.30pm 8 July at Morville Village Hall.
• Chetton Parish Council considering The Hills application. 7.30pm 16 July at Chetton Village Hall.
